In order to comply with the guidelines of Know Your Customer (KYC) issued by Bank of Botswana and service our clients better, Bank Gaborone is updating its customer information. We are therefore requesting our customers to provide the following information to their concerned branches.


Individual clients requirements:

1) Valid Omang for citizens or passport for expatriates
2) Proof of residence (current utility bill/ affidavit)
3) Proof of income (current payslip/ letter from employer/ affidavit)
4) Valid work permit and residence permit for expatriates


Business clients requirements:

1) Statutory business entity documentation
2) Identity documents (valid Omang for citizens or passport for expatriates) for shareholders, directors or signatories
3)Proof of income (financials for the past 12 months)
4)Proof of residence of business entity (utility bill/ lease agreement/confirmation of residence by Company Secretary)
